I have a short very wide foot with a high instep and finding boots that fit is an issue. I tried XTRATuff, but they were just too narrow to work for me without having to buy a larger boot my foot would swim in.
But Ketcham tackle did me a solid and recommended that I try the Pelagic factory store right down the street in Costa Mesa, CA. So I did and my feet are thankful for it! Was able to drop down a 1/2 size and find the perfect fit.
Took them out for an all day trip the next day and couldnt be happier!.
I want to start off by saying I was worried before I purchased these because I have wide feet. I normally wear size 3E wide shoes and so buying anything online I am hesitant because I worry they wont fit.
Boots are waterproof, comfortable, and durable. I stock up on these boots when I can.

They are the most comfortable rain boots I purchased. I currently own some muck boots , owned some hunter boots and other cheaper ankle rain boots and they did not compare to the Xtratuf rain boots.
Small downsides not made to go on a big walk/hiking adventure, they are flat, and dont have grip. The Xtratuf sticker on the front peeled off after a week of use, but it doesnt affect the quality of the boot, so I dont care.

The shoe looks like quality built. I supposedly wear a size 7 but when I ordered a 7. 5, it felt too snug. The entire shoe was tight front and back and size of the foot too. This was without wearing socks, so I felt this was going to be too tight normal daily wear.
Its acceptable so I kept it and will just wear it as a casual daily walking shoe.
Not a slip on type of shoe. Other then them dislikes it is a good shoe.

The material of the upper shoe provide all-day comfort. And the vents drain all the water. Its a perfect water shoe. I highly recommend. I did get a half size bigger because I read another review that indicated they were a little narrow.

So I really wanted to like this shoe. The material in the upper is nice and the sole is great non-slip. The problems I had were that the shoe ran a little over normal shoe sizing and the rear of show shoe rubbed the flesh off the backs of my ankles.

Ok, lets start with the fact that I almost didnt buy this shoe because of some people complained about them not having an insert, and that the mesh was uncomfortable or just plain weird. First lets look at why I bought them, I needed a shoe that could handle water and dry land every day.
these fit that bill to a tee, so most water shoes have that annoying insert that retains water and squishes out water everytime you take a step, these dont do that, no insert=no squish. how many times have you worn flip flops that once they get wet you slip and slide right out, one major reason people buy water shoes, that have the same problem, your foot slides around in the water shoes.
Ive found that the mesh interior sole keeps your foot from sliding around, a little odd at first but the theory is very sound and works very well at draining water away from your feet and drying quickly.
They are as good, if not slightly better than the HUK shoes I have. I would recommend these to anyone who is around water, boating, fishing, or any kind of activity that includes water. they are the fastest draining, drying shoe Ive found that are slip free, both internally and externally.

Good looking shoe. Very light. Feet were not tired at the end of the day. Breathable feet never got hot. They are a little stiff and rough with out socks. Wore them yesterday with some thin no show socks and was more comfortable.
