He deployed to Iraq with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as the Chief Orthopedic Surgeon, Charlie Surgical Company Forward Resuscitative Unit, Camp Fallujah, Iraq and continues his commitment to service as a Naval Reservist.
